Bad luck Chelsea!

0

It hurts me to say it as I was cheering on Chelsea, but Barcelona were by far the better team over 180 minutes. I’m not quite sure what the official Chelsea site is on about saying it was

a game which never got a tempo beyond referee Markus Merk’s whistle

The truth is we never looked like scoring the two goals we needed.

Mourihno, as great a football manager he is, has to learn to be truely graceful in defeat. Looking forward to hearing what he had to say via the BBC, and on Spanish TV. I’ll try and post some comparisons with what was understood, along with my take on the game here tomorrow.

Watching both games here is Spain was as fun as ever. The atmosphere just great, a real good crack. We’re all looking forward to the world cup!

We won the Carnival Regatta!

A little late in posting this, but last Saturday, I and a few friends took part in the “V Regata de Carnaval” hosted by the Real Club Astur de Regatas, which we managed to win the 595 class dressed up in Chinese outfits!

Lejano Oriente
The turnout was a little poor, despite the day being great considering the weather we have had lately. We were second on the water, but the result was combined with a judging of our costumes.

Anyway, my second sailing trophy, a little different from the norm!

There are a few more photos I’ll try to get hold of and post.
