Lets start with the basics…
My name is Simon Scullion, and this is my personal blog.
I live in Asturias, northern Spain, with my wife and two daughters.
I work for CSC.
I sail as often as possible, though due to the above, not often enough!
I have been working in the IT industry for over 10 years, and have a special interests in collaboration, social media and mobility.
My family see me as a geek, but I don’t think I’m that bad - though I did convert my parents PC to Ubuntu! 
I enjoy being out and about with family and friends, photography, DIY, and general geekery. Oh, and occasionally, beer! 
I tinker quite a bit with technology (could be where I get the geek status from!?), mostly web development and design, Linux - Ubuntu is my current distro of choice. I must be on the latest version of everything!
I like my gadgets, but have my budget controlled be external forces.
