IBM Lotusphere Comes to You 2008

Warning, this is a bit of a gripe post!ls08-443x120.jpg

Why is it that the dates for Lotus events in Spain always seem to be the last to appear!? Spain isn’t even on the list for the Lotusphere Comes to You events, which I hope that is just temporary!

It could go quite some way to explain why the Lotus community here in Spain has struggled for so long. I just hope that all the effort of late from those behind Spanish Lotus User Group – SLUG.es, are matched by IBM Lotus.

Hi Simon, I am now fighting nail and tooth with IBM. We want IBM to donate us a Sametime free of charge… I totally agree with you. Sorry by my poor English. Albert Buendia. We want to you as a SLUG member!!

    Hola Albert!

    Gracias por tu comentario!

Fighting with IBM? You’d think they would be offering to help you with you efforts….

I have been very busy of late, and not had much time to dedicate elsewhere, probably evidenced by the lack of posts here on my blog!!

I have been following the progress you have been making with the SLUG, and do hope to become more active at some point!

    ¡Hasta pronto!

    Hi, Simon!

    Thanks for your support!

There are a “small” group of Domino/Notes developers in Spain ( and of course, Chile, Mexico,… ) dealing with these problems seven or eight years ago … ( For example, http://www.notesring.com and others … )

    Regards!
